Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell (nee Robertson born 27 March 1970 height 5' 9 is an American actor who is famous for her roles in the role of Dr. Juliet Burke on ABC's television series Lost as well as FBI agent Erica Evans on V. She's appeared in films such as The Santa Clause 2 The Santa Clause. Gia. The Escape Clause. Mitchell currently co-stars in Eric Kripke's show Revolution airing on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell, her stepfather, and Josephine Marian Mitchell are both attorneys in Dallas. Mitchell relocated along with her mother, to Dallas in the year 1970. The couple later got married. Joseph Mitchell. Mitchell has a degree from Booker T. Washington High School, a magnet public school that focuses on the performing and visual arts. She is the senior of three sisters, her two sisters are Kristina Kristie Mitchell (the youngest) Mitchell and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. She graduated in 1991 at Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and she was also enrolled in the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for six years at the Dallas Theater Center and a time in the Encore Theater. Her most prominent role is her role as Emily Prentiss, Special Agent in CBS's crime show Criminal Minds. In June 2010 that Emily's role would decrease during Season 6 of Criminal Minds. Brewster's character may be gone from the show in March of 2011.
