Awkwafina
Awkwafina was initially an American performer and rapper, making sly songs that addressed issues such as racial and sexuality with a humorous twist. Prior to her move into Hollywood, she had the opportunity to perform a variety of tracks. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Koreans living in Forest Hills Queens. Her first experience with music came via the trumpet. Also, she received classical and jazz training later becoming a hip-hop teenager. In the end, she focused on her education. she was awarded a degree in journalism in university and also a women's study degree. The focus changed to music only after she finished her studies. The track My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity through the Internet in the year 2012. It eventually made it on the album debut Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album also featured hit songs that went viral, such as the body-positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown NYC BitcheUSD. This latter song was directly connected to Awkwafina's NYC, a 2015 travel guide. Her resume included both author and musician. Now she was looking to further her career in acting. She has appeared in films including Neighbors 2, Storks, and Bad Rap. The actress made headlines in the year 2018, with several movies that were highly regarded, such as Dude Ocean's 8 as well as Crazy Rich Asians. The EP came out in June.
