Aura Garrido is a Spanish actor and actress on television. Her roles included films including Stockholm and the television show El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido was born in Madrid in the year 1989. Her father Tomas Garrido is a composer and conductor of orchestras, while the mother of her children, Pilar Sanchez, works as an artist. In her fourth year, she began taking piano lessons and shortly after, she began ballet. Her best friend was an English speaker, and she learned English by her. When she finished her high school education, she went to the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico in Madrid. There she studied interpretation for three years, with a focus on translation of text. But she quit in 2010 when she got an acting role in Planes para manana. Her nomination for a Goya award in the category of"best emerging" actress and also won the Silver Biznaga award for her performance in the film.
